Laser Cutting Job Work
Metal Lazer World takes laser cutting job work on a component basis. You send the DXF drawing, material and quantity; the parts are cut, and where required bent, welded and fabricated, then returned to you. Two separate machines cover the two kinds of work.
A 6 kW pipe laser cuts pipes, profiles and flats in mild steel and stainless steel, with a maximum holding capacity of 220 mm and a maximum workpiece length of 6,000 mm; pipe and profile wall thickness up to 12 mm. Holes, slots, copes and end profiles are cut directly from the drawing.
A 3 kW flat laser cuts sheet and plate in mild steel and stainless steel, up to 12 mm material thickness and a maximum sheet size of 4 ft × 8 ft, subject to material, geometry and technical review. Contours, holes, slots and openings are cut to the geometry in your DXF file, and the cut parts can continue straight into CNC press brake bending.
